Kathleen Taylor

Kathleen Taylor is only the second CEO of the Four Seasons Group, which was founded in 1961 by Isadore Sharp. Made co-president of the group in 2000, Sharp had been planning for Kathleen to succeed him as CEO more than a decade before it occurred. Not only is Kathleen driving the renovation of some of Four Seasons most famous hotels, like those in Paris, New York and London, but she is behind the company’s rapid expansion across China, the Middle East and opening their first lodge in Tanzania. In five decades, Four Seasons has been transformed from a modest motor inn in downtown Toronto into one of the world’s most luxurious hotel and restaurant chains, with 85 hotels in 35 countries employing 34,000 members of staff.
